60-70% gpu usage?

Ricky_SHTK
Go to solution Solved by mrbuz,

wow your cpu is getting super got for what is is what are you cooling it with?

that could be why but it is verry unlikely

what about drivers are you using the latest drivers and has it been doing this only since a update?

Hey i just got a new 1070 strix, and it's running at 60-80% gpu usage in battlefield 1 ultra... i even drop to 60 fps sometimes...

This is wrong right? Anyway to fix it?

Or is it normal?

Any possible chance you could get temps of the GPU and CPU?

What is your average fps in the game? 1080p in BF1 at ultra should be around 80-100

Also make sure you don't have frame lock set in the game.

it's around 80-100 when in base with almost no action. And while in action is 60-70 dropping to 55 . I i will now try some other maps and tell you about the temps.

yeah temps because the s340 is knowin for having bad airflow and it might be thermal throttling

i really don't know, i got the gpu today :D and yes latest drivers... the cpu cooler i don't know which one it is cause i didn't install it, but looks pretty basic and neutral if that helps.

You really think it could be the cpu temps?

maybe that cpu will throttle at 74 deg c

so it could be bottling it, but even that is highly unlikely. if i were you i would undo the overclock to 4.6 and see how it goes you might need a better cpu cooler
