Hello everyone, I have just purchased a 4k TV and have hooked up my PC to it and when I go on Nvidea control panel and change the resolution to 4k it goes black untill it goes back to 1080p. If you know why please tell me. And also if my resolution on my pc is 1080p and I play a youtube video at 4k is it 4k or not?

If you're using HDMI make sure your cable and port both support 4K resolution.
