Whatsapp for Android

Hi, today i accidentally dropped my phone and...yes the screen is kind of messed up, touch won't work LCD is broken too. But i really don't care about the phone, the Whatsapp Chats are the important thing. But i cannot back them up. Can i get them back? The phone is connected to my computer in web.whatsapp.com , i can see chat history, but there is no option to make a backup there, I think i have ADB enabled. Help!

So Whatsapp makes an automatic backup everyday at 2 am and to recover it you just have to copy the whatsapp folder from your phone to the same location on your new phone.

can you see the screen? if so use a mouse with an otg adapter to back up your messages on google drive.

Well uhmm, i don't have an adapter on hand, so thats the problem! And i disabled the automatic backup, because i sometimes stayed up too late and the upload to Google Drive was screwing with my internet! I have Wi-Fi turned off on the phone, only LTE. So no automatic backups

OTG adapters are only a few quid i suggest you get one anyway they are always handy
