Hi everyone , I'm planning to set up a small work station for mild audio/video editing with the following hardwares which I selected as my budget allowed me. Please advice me regarding their compatibility and if I should change something.

Processor- Intel Core i5 6500 LGA1151 Socket 3.20GHz Processor

Motherboard-Gigabyte H170M-D3H - DDR4 6th Generation MotherBoard

PSU- Corsair VS Series VS550 - 550 Watt SMPS

RAM- HyperX Fury Black 8GB 2133MHz DDR4 RAM

Cabinet- Circle Gaming Cabinet CC 821

I have a SATA western digital 7200 rpm 1TB drive and will be adding an SSD drive and DVD writer later.

With regards,
Ishan :) .

it will be fine but what about adding a 1050 for Cuda acceleration

6600K - ASUS Z270i Gaming ITX - 8GB Corsair  Vengence LPX DDR4 2400MHZ - EVGA 1070SC - 120GB HyperX Savage SSD - CX430 PSU:|

PSU tier list-

Thanks matt !!! I'm currently on a tight budget now but I'll definitely give it a thought regarding the 1050 ...

definitely worth getting a Nvidia GPU for those Cuda cores even if it is something "cheap" like the 1050 as this will reduce your render times dramatically i programs like adobe premiere and after affects. the rest of your build is solid I take note your on a tight budget but a nice upgrade for the future would also be another 8gb of ram but you don't need this it will just make your life easier

I lurk a lot
