I've got an old Gigabyte gtx 960 wind force 2x OC edition card. I was wondering if there is any way I could get a back plate made for it, or if the card could even have a back plate mounted on it so I don't have to look at the ugly PCB

If you wanted to DIY something with acrylic that wouldn't be too hard as for purchasing something for that places such as addoncustoms and cold zero offer services that make custom acrylic backplates.

The only thing is im not sure where I could mount it to on the back of the board. I could probably replace the heatsink screws out with longer ones and mount it to that with ruber spacers or something

That can work another option is to use double stick mounting tape and adhere certain points for the plate to stay in place since it's just for aesthetics.

There would be no chance of electrical shorts if the tape was touching the pcb would there, because at this point the double sided tape method is looking like the best one.

I actually have the acrylic plate from the card above, its since been returned to stock and the painted sheet is just sitting in my closet. It wasn't hard at all to make.
