I know this place is has a great community so i was hoping i could get some help with what graphics card i should choose.

 

i am planning on making a new pc build for myself that is for gaming and i have all the componens already chosen but i need a graphics card.

 

the build is about 1000 $ and i have  286 $ to spend on a graphics card.

 

all feedback is highly appricaited

at that budget, a 480 or 1060 look like your options, if you haven't already started buying I've seen builds with i7 6700 and 1070s floating around, and that will be better for anything you want to do

How about a 1070? :P The CPU might bottleneck it in some games, but it won't be that noticeable.

Just saying, this is a lot better in terms of performance but the aesthetics are a bit lacking..

Well, OP can decide if they want to change the mobo or anything for aesthetics and how/if they want to fudge their budget for appeal. but it's the best performance they can get without finding some crazy good deal

i dont mind the orange card since ill have led lightning in the build already so i wont really seem that much but thanks for the tips but ill probs stay with the windforce build

 

i also dont think that such an overpowered proccesor will be needed for just gaming so if im gonna save i would downgrade that

I would get an EVGA card for not that much more. It's overall a better card
