Wi-Fi problem...

So in the UK there is the Isp called Virgin media which is very popular across the uk. the router they provided me with is a dual band router with a 2.4ghz channel and 5ghz. 

 

The problem im is that i bought a wifi range extender last year and my 2 brothers are having issues connecting to the extender. the signal is sending but the actual connection to the internet is false. 

what im asking for is the best wifi range extender possible. price isnt too much of an issue but i just hope that it will work and extend a signal to the moon and back

Most range extenders or repeaters aren't very good they can only give about half of the original speed at best, if you have the option it would be better to install a second access point.
