Overclocking RX480

I have a reference RX480 down to around 60-65 C and i want to overclock for a performance boost. I looked at an overclocking tutorial for NZXT CAM and I dont know what happenes when my gpu crashes. When does a GPU crash and what happens?

The GPu will crash when the OC isnt stable. It will not hurt your gpu. I use adterburner for oc, so i can give you tips for that.

A GPU will crash when its silicon becomes unstable and starts giving out errors. This can happen because you pushed clocks too high or because it's running too hot, and as long as temperatures are in check, adding voltage mitigates the instability due to high clocks on the Polaris chips.
