Hello all.

I'm building a server for home for homelab. I want to do 2-3 desktops out of it. Initially I wanted to have multiple videocards(and that's still my plan). But there're problems connecting it to monitors/keyboard/mouse - KVM needed or other similar solution.

I wonder if it possible to run one VM as a client(passthrough videocard, mouse/keyboard) and connect to other VM as client via network. Since it will be same box, network is not an issue.  I'd also like to be able to play games on one of the VMs.

What technology I'm looking at? VDI, VNC, moonlight or other technologies?

Do I need to something with guest VM to support moonlight or not? If moonlight is done by Unraid - that's a big plus.

Another question - if there's a lightweight moonlight client? So I passthrough everything to it, and connect/switch to VM from there.
