Corsair Scimitar RGB DPI Buttons

Hey all!

So, I have recently purchased the Corsair Scimitar RGB, after taking the CUE crash course i finally was able to do the things i wanted to do with the lighting.

Now, I want the DPI buttons on top of the mouse to go forwards and backwards in windows/web browsers like my old Razer Naga Hex did.
Is there a way to do this? if so? how? is there a macro setting i have to make? or am i just boned and i have to deal with it?
