I need a good Cloud Storage Solution. I want to sync my desktop PC with my Macbook and mostly it will be used for students stuff, so the storage hasn't be to be very big. And i am also willing to pay for it, if its worth it. It should have a desktop application where i can simply access the files and edit them. Maybe i got a folder, thats always be sync'ed. Does anyone got a good advice/recommendation?

Thanks :)

Dropbox or Google drive with a backup scheme in place.

Backing up files is rather easy using both Windows and Macs automated tasks features, plus OSX will notify you if you have an iPhone when its doing it.

Another way is to have both devices access each other via network sharing, and then you just map the network locations on each device, this could be considered a "Free" option but does have the downside of not been able to access files when outside of your local network if you dont have a VPN in place.

This may sound very default but one drive but mainly due to the whole office 365 for 1 pc, 1 tablet and one phone if you get the 1tb 55.99/ year plan and the way their ecosystem is with windows 10 and on mobile makes it so easy to switch documents between the two and edit cloud documents while on pc (windows 10 has it integrated) and on mobile (as the office apps also have it integrated), only cloud storage method I use and I'd recommend it. But for the office apps, you can use other cloud storage methods such as google drive, so I wouldn't say it's the only option for sure.
