Arma 3 frame problems

Hey all I have recently built a gaming PC to play games like Arma 3, DayZ etc. I have an Intel i5 6500, a Gigabyte G1 Gaming RX 480, and 8GB of RAM. I should be able to run this game very easily from what I have heard from other forums prior to building this PC but when I play multiplayer I am getting 20-40 frames. I am the Autodetected settings which consist of almost everything on Ultra or Very High. Is there anything else that I could do to boost my FPS? Sidenote, I am running the game on a widescreen monitor with a resolution of 1680x1050 (16:10)

Reduce graphics to high instead of very high

I have tried that and there wasn't any improvement, still getting around 30 FPS.

The only thing you can do is run the game on lower settings. It is using a poorly optimized engine, and the FPS you are getting seems normal to me. Don't get me wrong- your specs are good, it's just that the game is really CPU heavy and optimized.
