Battlefield 4 help

Go to solution Solved by TheRuke,

Is the Processor hyperthreaded? If it is, BF4 now utilizes 4 cores and it's better if you have 4 physical cores. Have you updated Drivers for your GPU? If not, you really need to.

Update your drivers to the latest beta driver probably will fix this. I have a 660ti and when i played the beta i got like 50 fps on highest settings so something must be very wrong if you have updated your drivers.

AMD dont have Intel Hyperthreading.

But yeah i agree with what everyone says Update your driver to your latest beta drivers.

Also remember that BF4 is a step up from BF3, requiring 3GB of VRAM on "recommended" and your card only has 2GB.

I derped on Hyperthreading.

Good, try to stay up to date in the future.

I do have 2GB but I'm fine. I get like 50FPS. I think the "3GB reccomended" is a push for the new AMD GPUs.

HAHA  np I too often stay up late and post pure rubbish

I think perhaps if you have 2GB VRAM that your PC might have to start using Virtual Ram, being slower to access that the VRAM on the card it will mean you would drop a few frames but nothing major I doubt. (don't quote me on this though its only a thought)
