Does anyone else here get really frustrated with Massdrop? I am buying my third thing through them and I always feel like the process is soooooo long and dragged out and they always say they will keep you updated but never actually do. It is seriously frustrating but I feel like i enjoy the community and the concept of the site. Anyone else feel like this or have a just gotten in on a few dud drops?

Yeah processing does take a little while but I'm not ever really in a rush to receive whatever I buy. I remember when the Fostex TH-X00 purple heart came out and had a 6 month wait and the most recent drop was only a week.

The process of massdrop is that they bulk order. So they have to find the buyers, which takes a few days/weeks. Then place the order with said company, company has to fill order, send to masssdrop (who will pack each individual order, not the supplier) and then send out to customers, which they ship internationally. So the process is lengthy, but like the previous post says, try not to order anything you need in a rush.

@vong @Jake 5467 Yeah I totally get that things take a while but my biggest issue is just the "feel" of the site. It feels like they would have really good and clear customer service and communication since its based around a forum style and with people sharing ideas and thought about things they are passionate about. But for all three drops I have been a part of the items are shipped after when they initially say they will be and they do this without any communication to the members of the drop. Or they say "we will update you by xx/xx" and you never hear from them. I dunno I love the concept of the site and the deals can be pretty awesome but I always feel less than satisfied when ordering through them especially with places like Amazon who can offer similar pricing, faster shipping and better customer service. If they are going to differentiate themselves they really need to step up their customer service cuz I have hear many other people with similar complaints.

Yeah I get what you mean. I feel they've been slacking in updates lately. I joined a drop that finished a couple of days ago with no updates.

Their customer support/RMA seems like a bit of a mess to me especially since I'm an international buyer and being one really sucks sometimes as their shippings prices can get out of hands for no reason. What also sucks is that us Aussies can't use Amazon anymore so you guys have all the luck in buying online.
