Everything was good until July when my WD black 1TB decided to die the death. I ordered the Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB that is currently in there. Randomly it would freeze or crash, reformatted the drive and reinstalled everything. No more issues. Upgraded my GPU from a 650ti to the current 1060, issue came back. Reformatted, reinstalled, fixed. These last few weeks the issues have escalated. No more BSOD or error dumps when it freezes or crashes, now it just randomly seems to lose power completely, motherboard lights everything turns off. Stays black for a few seconds then boots back up. Nothing in the event viewer. My initial thought was that by adding the K70 and GPU I had exceeded my PSU, but its 700W, still seems the most likely cause of the issue, maybe its going bad. Power at the strip is good, I've tried replacing it with others, but my monitors, speakers and candle warmer all stay list when the computer dies.

Before I spend the money to replace my PSU, any other thoughts on what could be causing the issues or how to test for other issues? Could my SSD have some issue that warrants replacing? If I do go replace my PSU, any recommendations? My goal is to replace my MOBO, CPU, and RAM when the new generation comes out so it needs to be "future proof."

Most issues come while playing Rust or The Forest gameplay, it does occasionally happen during regular web browsing or work.

Completely dead now. Shut off in overtime of am overwatch game as we are about to take point.

Reseated all plugs, removed GPU, Mobo lights turn on but it won't start at all. Reseated CPU and RAM (rebuilt it essentially without the GPU.) Maybe the motherboard has been the culprit. Checked wall and PSU switch of course.

Any suggestions on what else to try?

Didn't want to upgrade my PC until the new generation of Intel CPU came out, but it's going to be hard to do homework on a dead PC.
