Just asking if the 1050TI would be able to run VR and how good as its pascal and "2X better at VR"

No, you won't get a good vr experience.

Minimum is the rx470 4gb or the gtx 1060 3gb (don't recommend this)

Recommended is the RX 480 4gb or the 1060 6gb.

Theoretically, it can. Practically you would be throwing up instead of playing games. xD

Not really. As it turns out the pascal technology wasn't as good as promised (it's definitely not "half the rendering workload") and tomshardware still recommends a GTX 1070 or similar for good VR.

Maybe if you saved up a bit more for a more powerful card like a 1060 6GB or RX 480 (the 4GB 480 can still do it), but you're not guaranteed high detail settings (you are guaranteed to be less likely to throw up though)

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

to be noted i have played the HTC vive on a 960m and was "playable"

A 1050 Ti is miles better than a 960M, but I still think that the experience would make you feel sick after a couple of minutes of playing...

If you have a 1060 6GB, then use that for VR. A 1050 Ti is just way too weak for VR....
