Hay Good morning, so this passed holiday I did a lot of shopping for SSDs' for me and my dads' new build and not sure which one to keep. I'm looking more for longer lasting drives than faster. Thank You, and here are the links, and prices that I paid.

Links: SSD

Sandisk SSD pluss 960GB = $179 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16820173276

OCZ Trion 150 960GB = $169 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16820228144

Crucial MX300 750GB = $150 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4RE4ND2800&cm_re=crucial_mx300_750gb-_-9SIA4RE4ND2800-_-Product

Transcend TLC Modal  (TS480GSSD220S) 480 GB = $95 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4M550N1583&cm_re=Transcend_480_GB_TLC-_-2WA-0007-00019-_-Product

This is including Shipping and Tax for all items, and all of them can be returned. Also for all those who want Amazon has a sale right now for the Transcend 480GB for $95. Thank You and Happy Holidays.

yes, but there is also the price to size to keep in mind.

Do you know what size you want? I know mine is 200gb so after determining that I get the best quality that is min 200gb. I'm not tempted to buy a drive with only 2 year warranty if there is a three or five year drive for a few dollars more

looking to go for 750 or 960 since he doesn't play games so just movies, pics, files, and programs. As for me not %100 sure with what to go for I have 250GB 850 EVO, but it's way to small. Thank you

I think the choice is down to tlc mlc or 3D. I'm also using the same 850 evo which I think is 3D. I have previously been using a mlc intel for years without problems. Iv never owned a tlc because they supposedly don't last as long

Generally look at the TBW specs to determine the life of an SSD.

I did but if you look the MX300 and the Sandisk, they use MLC while the others use TLC. According to linus and other poeple MLC will last longer, but is not as fast as TLC. Thanks for the replying.
