Sooo this is my first time overclocking and i'm having issues with stability. I've tried 4.4, 4.5, and 4.6 GHz at 1.2v on a 4690k and im still having stability issues. I overclocked the north bridge as well and im wondering if i have to push up the chip set voltage as well?

1.2V is not enough

You will need around 1.4v+ to get those clocks

Also i'm not sure of the architecture of your cpu but do you know if an equivalent overclock of the north bridge/lower level caches requires any messing around with their voltage?
