Has anyone had any experience with gaming on a ips monitor like the Asus vc239h or Acer r240hy,Acer g247hyl maybe Asus mx239h? I think it is called? Mostly for gmaing but going monitors that are 144hz are quite expensive

 

closest price I can find is Acer gn246hl but the colors on it are crappy and viewing angles are bad on most of the tn panels and I do watch a lot of movies and YouTube videos so ips would be great but want minimal ghosting and backlight bleed as I know there will be some backlight bleed and just a slight bit of unnoticable ghosting so asking for experience if anyone has.

I have an IPS monitor (LG 29UM68) and let me tell you it is pretty awesome. I use it for both gaming and design work and the color accuracy is fantastic. I used to own a TN monitor and the difference is tremendous. The viewing angles are great because the IPS technology and there is little backlight bleed (in this particular monitor, of course). So I noticed a huge improvement in both gaming and work. Colors are really vivid and the IPS makes everything beautiful to look at.

What is the resolution? I have been looking at 1080p somewhere around $150

Oh I never cared for ultrawide and to me anyhtkng that is ultrawide at 29 inch always seemed grainy but it sea like I can get away with an ips monitor and eventually go to a gaming monitor
