Ever since I built my PC, ALL of my mic ports don't work, my USB ports, especially 3.0, randomly fail, and everything is getting really fucking annoying. I've asked the forum several times before about the mic thing with no answers. I can't comprehend the issue. Both front and back don't work. My friend is having a similar issue with totally different hardware.

I'm on a GA-H170-DS3H mobo, and Windows 10, with a Deepcool Tesseract as the case.

i5 6600k and GTX 1070 but I play 1600-900. 1440p BABY!

Still, don't put too much faith in my buying decisions. xD

it maybe the case, if not rma

The back I/O is screwed up as well, so it can't really be the case's problem.

I have the exact motherboard as yours. I have random disconnections with rear headphone jack.

Yeh, my mic ports don't do anything at all. My PC will recognize something happened, and Realtek Audio Manager (also a dick) pipes in to tell me I plugged something in, but nothing else.

Check to make sure you have the latest drivers and bios installed.

I used Device Manager, which tells me all drivers are up to date. Bios is up to date as well. --?

Have you talked to Gigabyte about this?

Sometimes device manager doesn't work out so well at keeping things up to date you should check with gigabyte's website.  Also need to check to see if your running in legacy mode under the uefi.

No, I misplaced the I/O panel and the motherboard a little, so I'm no exactly sure where the problem is from, it seems to work fine after I place a piece of paper between the headphone plug and the I/O.

Anyway I did got a problem that falsely detect front and back headphone fixed installing Realtek driver that's newer than Windows is providing.  Driver Talent can update the PC to the latest drivers.

Still random disconnections around 3 times a day. I am starting to test with a in-ear headphone to see if it's the issue of inconsistency of power delivery from the motherboard, since you said USB 3.0 happens more often, and I am driving a over-ear headphone and a speaker. I also had an MFi certified third-party  iPhone cable destroyed charging with this motherboard...

Driver Talent requires subscription to download tho... Also it said my drivers are up to date.
