Holding Down Tab

Hi,

 

Currently I'm using a Corsair K70 (not RGB) mechanical keyboard.

I have a game that requires me to hold down Tab overnight.

 

So, I'm wondering if this will damage the keys of my keyboard. If it does, will this damage be cover under the keyboard warranty?

nope, wont damage your keyboard, atleast not in any significant way. it puts some extra stress on the internal reset mechanism but those are completely covered under warranty. if it was actually continuesly pressing and releasing it every milisecond it would be really damaging but not for anything else. you could also just set up a macro key or set up a simple script that simulates a keypress if you really don't like the idea of it but thats kindoff an hassle.

Was a little worried as it seems likely that I'll need to keep doing this for a few more nights =P
