What type of PSU should I use for the following setup:

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/sqnkov/saved/#view=QV2xrH

My thougts are going with - http://www.corsair.com/en/cx600-80-plusr-bronze-certified-power-supply

Overclocking will be done in the future.

Graphcis card should be assumed top-range (e.g. 980 - 1070 - 1080) Single GPU , non SLI

Cooler should be chosen to fit the setup as described.

corsair RMx, RMi, AX, AXi, HX, HXi

EVGA  G2, P2, GS, PS

pretty much anything seasonic (but seeing your budget, if you go seasonic, get one of the nice ones)

that's usually my list of recommendations in this range (also, that's off the top of my head, if i made a misser, feel free to quote me on it ;))

that said, are you open to changes to that list, i have a few things i'd like to recommend different based on personal experience.

Go for it.

p.s. Seasonic is not an option since only the most expensive mods are available where I am located.

i've been pretty nice, brief overview:

- same cpu

- same mobo, it's your choice, not what i'd go with, but it honestly doesnt matter what you pick

- same ram, same explanation

- the SSD is a pretty good deal in its price bracket and storage size range

- i've replaced the WD black with a very specific toshiba drive, that's because i have a WD black, and a pair of that very specific toshiba drive, and i like the toshiba's that much i'd rather decomission the black for another toshiba.

- i tossed in a corsair RMx 750 watt power supply, this one needs a brief explanation:

for one GPU, 750 watts is WAY overkill, but the corsair RM series (and RMx and RMi accordingly) can handle quite high loads before they need to spin up their fan, so you could essentially game on the thing without your gpu needing its fan -- essentially a very cheap option for a fanless power supply :P

- i kept the displays as you put them in, i'm not gonna argue over displays.

@manikyathI came across this one, does it cover the 6700k ?

i'm just gonna briefly say this: whoever that guy is, i wouldnt rely on this guy's reviews at all...

also, if your power supply dies after two weeks, you have warranty, failures happen no matter which brand or quality you get, dude was just unlucky, and appareantly was quite salty over it...

EDIT: also, his overview of the accessories is... retarded, to say it nicely..
