CPU i7 6700k Not over clocking, and MOBO is gigabyte H170 Gaming 3. It is a OEM version, honestly bought the key off a website.... So I would assume it's a OEM key

You can just swap the mobo and cpu in, it should boot. If windows fails activation, type the key in again, still fails, call them up.

It will probably fail.

This isn't too bad though, even if you are too lazy to activate it all it does is show "Activate Windows" in a light grey in the bottom right of your desktop

Is it OEM or upgrades that are tied to the specific motherboard they are first activated on? Can't remember, but you can always buy a new key.

I spend too much on my PC. Then I spend even more on my Sim Rig. Damn, this stuff's expensive.
