when I launch csgo it either runs at max 120 fps on the menu screen (because csgo locks it at that framerate; it's normal) or it starts up with 100-90 fps which is not normal. I jump into a gram with that 100-90 fps on menu screen and the match is super laggy and I get like 60 fps max but with the 120 fps max on menu screen, it's normal and I get like 100 fps max in-game. I really need a permanent fix to this. My temporary fix is just to restart the computer (which works). So this time, I opened cs and it was normal but when I alt+tab'd out and went back in, the fps went back to the really bad fps. :( I just need a solution to this.

I misread titles/posts way too often--correct me if I don't.

Update your gpu drivers and see if that helps. You could also try downgrading to a previous driver if you recently updated. Also if you have an nvidia card, and geforce experience installed, try turning off the share feature and seeing if the issue goes away .

I made sure that it was off in the nVidia control panel and in-game.

I have tried updating and downgrading; nothing. I have completely uninstalled geforce experience but what is the share feature?
