Looks pretty nice! Will probably be overkill for 1080p unless you are maxing and want high frames, but whatever floats your boat. The PSU might be a bit more than you need, but dont quote me on that.

Solid cookie cutter build. A few questions...

 

1. What's your rationale for a platinum PSU? Are you paying more than is really necessary? A gold rated is great...Even for hardcore overclocking imho 

2. What monitor setup do you have? Are you planning for sli later on?

If your just gonna use it for gaming get the 6600k, basically no difference gaming wise and costs $100 less

I would get 3000MHz Ram.

1. There is no rationale really... I am never sure what to buy when it comes to PSUs ^^

2. I'm probably gonna go with a single monitor setup (ultrawide 1440p) for the moment, and I think a single 1080 should be able to power through that wirh ease. Which is why I am going to stick to a single card

Why? Didn't linus make a video showing that higher MHZ Ram doesn't actually make a difference in gaming?

It makes a difference with Skylake.
