Quick Question on Refresh Rate of Monitor.

So if a certain TN Monitor has a GTG of 1ms and after reading reviews on the monitor they said it has a 22-32ms input lag. Meaning if I combine the 2 the delay is 23-33ms?

 

And if a certain IPS Monitor has a GTG of 5ms and after reading reviews on the monitor they said it has a 9.88ms input lag. Meaning if I combine the 2 the delay is 14.88ms?

 

Am I correct here that the IPS is the better monitor for gaming because it has a lower combined delay? If I am wrong, please jump in.

the GTG response time is already included in that test. That is the actual real-life, measurement from input to output, nothing needs to be added to that.

Okay, thanks. It's pretty obvious but to make sure. The IPS LG one is the better one in delay right?
