NEW HEADPHONES WIRED AND WIRELESS

WilliDK

Hello There

Does anyone know some headphones for gaming I could use?

Here are my requirements:

- Wired and Wireless

- You can unplug the wire

- 7.1 surround sound

- sound dampening so there is quite.

- OK mic.

- comfortable

- and the best possible audio quality in general.

- over ear headphones.

- durable.

- not to expensive (i would say below 200 euros/dollars)

I know its a lot of requirements but if you can´t find some with both wired and wireless then I will be fine :)

Thanks for your time.

- William

7.1 Surround on headphones is mostly Garbage. Get some nice Wireless headphones and a mic seperatley. You could get a nice USB Mic and some good bluetooth headphones within ur budget.

Dont waste ur money on some "gamer" headphones.

Budget Rig "Curable":     | FX 6300 @4.5Ghz | Asus R9 270x | Asus Crosshair IV Extreme | 16GB HyperX Beast | 120GB PNY SSD

Tablet "Buddy":                 Trekstor Wintron 10.1|

I got myself a pair of the JBL E50BT. But if i would be in the choice of buying new ones, i would get the SONY MDR's. They're just more decent for wearing in public transport.

Batterywise they never let me down. They can hold up a daylong gaming session easily.

Hello there, William.

I've always recommended audiophile headphones and a discrete microphone, and I think your budget of $200 is perfect for both.

Audio Technica ATH-AD700x audiophile headphones- https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-AD700X-Audiophile-Headphones/dp/B009S332TQ/

Blue Snowball iCE USB microphone ($45)- https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Snowball-iCE-Condenser-Microphone/dp/B014PYGTUQ/

I've seen a lot of equipment around this price point, and both of these are the best in their respective ranges, holding their ground even against much more expensive equipment. They'll serve you excellently.

I normally recommend the Sennheiser HD 598 at this price point, but they trade blows with the Audio Technica ATH-D700x. However, now that the latter is 2/3rds the price, the choice is clear. They're better for the money.
