Need help GT 430

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

Did you clean it/put it together again? Did it start working? Have you changed some bios settings "overnight"? If all of them answers are "no" (except the first question), it's broken and you should replace it. Untill then, you seem to have onboard graphics, which work just fine >>> you have something else at the moment.

I also wonder... Is that GPU better then your onboard video?!?

My monitors don't receive VGA/DVI conection from my GPU anymore, this happened overnight, and i can't figure out why. I pulled out my GPU and used the onboard graphics wich work fine. So i was wondering if anyone know if and why it stopped working so suddenly. Its a old MSI GT430 but unfortunately it's all i have at the moment.

PC specs:

Windows 7 64 bit

Intel I5 2500

ASrock Z77 Pro4

Sorry for replying in Dutch but my english is kinda rusty. But it is solved anyways

It's solved as-in it started working acain? Or you know you should replace it...

Also, how much ram did you send to your onboard video? Because I was sporting a gt610 1 gb passive cooled GPU, which would beat my onboard video, when I had it set at 256 mb... Changed my onboard vid to 2 gb, and it beats my 610 easy.

(if you like, I could type this text in dutch, but me thinks you can read English)

The GT 430 is 215% better than the HD 2000 on the i5 according to userbenchmark.

Nvm all of the above then.

*EDIT: that CPU seems to use an HD 3000, according to the dutch tech site "tweakers". Only 56% slower then the 430 gt. And considering USerbenchmark isn't that reliable, they COULD be about the same speeds.

According to intel ark, it uses HD 2000, which is much slower.

Ok @TheRandomness.

@-_-pcnaab-_-, depending on some answers I get, and some hard thinking, I might have a passive cooled 610 gt laying around. It's crap, but according to userbenchmark, it's 66% better then your HD 2000 onboard vid card. If you're interested, reply here because PM's don't always work for me.
