$800 Laptop Suggestions?

Hey guys,

 

I know nothing about laptops, so I was wondering if you guys knew what would be the best laptop around the $800 mark.  Used for collage studies and light gaming. (Source engine/Minecraft level stuff)

 

Here are two I was looking at. (Option 1, Option 2)

An i5 would be fine if you don't do something crazily heavy. Not sure what you can put in that tiny 8GB SSD

Its not an SSD. It's an SSHD. 8gb cache.
