clueless Upgrade plan?

heey guys
i'm planning to upgrade my pc but i don't know where to start and hope you can help me?
i have a gaming pc and play a lot of heavy games and my plan is to stream some times for my friends so i wanna make it stream ready?

 

Games i play
Main game - Black desert online

sometimes -- league of legend // rainbow six siege //
 

 

 

CPU -- AMD A10-6800K
RAM -- 8GB DDR3

Motherboard -- ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. A88XM-A (FM2+ )

Graphics -- 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti (ASUStek Computer Inc)
Storage -- 931GB Seagate ST1000DM003-1CH162 (SATA)

Storage -- 931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-00WN4A0 (SATA)

 

i have 1 screen at the moment but i hope to get 1 more later.

i'm living in the Netherlands so we use euro's 

i don't have much money at the moment but just wanne have a bit of plan where i can aim for.

Since you want to stream, you should look for a CPU with a lot of threads, even if it's not curent-gen. You can find used i7-2600s for cheap, for instance. Then upgrade the GPU to an RX 470 and you're in great shape

better cpu to start with, any better gpu at this point would probably bottleneck so wouldn't be worth it yet.

Adding an SSD in there would be beneficial. and eventually get 8gb ram.

so i did some research
would be a Intel® Core i5-6600K, 3,5 GHz
be a good upgrade or would a i7 be better to start with ?

Mocht je die CPU weg doen, voor weinig, dan heb ik wel interesse...

 

OT: If you have some money, I would wait till AMD gets their new (Ry)Zen CPU's out. This might be to expencive for you, but alot of people are expecting prices to drop "alot". Might become alot cheaper to upgrade your system. (and I agree, that CPU isn't good enough for a big upgrade)

@NickyWell, we all (en ik) can help you creating a good upgrade plan for your computer. But there are many things we need to know. For example: budget. How much do you wish to spend on your streaming computer.

 

Next best thing would be your internet speed... Dutch upload speeds can be crappy at best in some areas. If you have a 5k euro's ultimate streaming computer, while you have only 1 mbit upstream, you can't use it all that well.

 

Are there things you want to keep, or does anything go. (do you want to keep the case for example... Are you happy with your current hard drives, have you ever experienced the speed of an SSD...) What kind of games do you like/play. Would 8 gb of ram be enough, or should you get 16 gb...

 

You might also want to consider used components, when you are on a budget. I could help you with that, using marktplaats for example. My current computer is made up of new components, and older used components. And depending on which components you buy used, it can be "zo goed als nieuw". For example, I bought a used motherboard, used CPU, 2 different sets of used memory and a broken but fixed aftermarket CPU cooler. I have a nice turbo limit setup, and my computer is very stable. Almost 23 days without a reboot, and no "slowing down" so far.
