Hey Everyone,

So I preordered BF4 a few days ago, my internet was dead till last night so I couldn't pre-download till no, its been going for like 12 hours and its only on 30%, for no particular reason my origin is slow as f****.

(Steam downloads at 700kb's-1.1mb)

I've googled how to make it faster and nothing really seems to work, any one got a definite fix?

Otherwise does anyone know where I can get the files?

I'm thinking of just downloading a torrent or something because that will be ridiculously faster than this 250-350kb's rubbish.

Thanks,

Peculiar because when I downloaded Crysis 3 the day it came out the speeds were flying.

All steam games I've downloaded on release are also very fast, goodamn EA need to get their shit together.

One more reason to buy disc version. Oh, and bit advice. Sometimes it helps if you cancle and restart download. With fast internet that shouldn't be such big deal to try out.

I had this problem a while back, Steam would dl at 700kbs+ and origin was downloading at 200kbs :/ It's something to do with your dns servers apparently, Change your dns server to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 these are googles dns servers and these seemed to fix the problem for me with my isp
