As i am speaking, i am on my recently 'fixed' computer and i am using google chrome. I am only able to launch Google chrome for some reason because Microsoft edge closes straight away and IE has an issue connecting to the internet. I do not understand this because i have an ethernet cable plugged in and i am connected to the internet which is how i am writing this but when i try to run skype, the windows store or steam i am getting a "Sorry, cannot connect to the internet" error status but i do not understand why this is appearing. I am clearly connected to the internet and using it. Please can someone help.

It is a problem because i need to use skype but i cannot use the desktop app because none of them are connecting to the internet. Skype, Steam, The Windows Store and a broadcasting tool i use aren't connecting to the internet yet i can use google chrome fine.
