Hi! So, I spent the night at my friends house the other nice and noticed his monitor was pretty smooth. It wasn't too big, played 1080p and had a 60hz Refresh rate, like mine. Nothing too bad. One thing I noticed is that his monitor looked 10x smoother then mine. The only advantage (PC wise) he has on me is an i7 compared to my AMD-Fx 8320 Eight Core. He even gets less frames then me in Overwatch (though playing on a higher setting) and it was still smooth. I have an Acer S200HL, not entirely sure what his is but I was so confused. Why does his look smooth compared to mine? Would it matter if I'm playing on a lower resolution? (Max for S200HL is 1600x900)

Could be either you getting less than 60fps or motion blur

In Overwatch, I play on high settings and get above 60fps all the time. I never drop below.

(Edit: My friend plays Ultra I believe, and gets about 70-80)

Ask him whats the model of his monitor and graphics card.

I suspect he's running 144Hz or Freesync/Gsync.

i know for a fact he has Intel HD graphics. (He bought a laptop lol) but I checked his Hz when I was over there and he has 60Hz max. Not sure if he has Gysnc or not, and all I know is he has an Asus.
