Hello

I've had some trouble with my PC since the day I bought it...

From defect RAMS to defect PSUs, to a Defect cooler...and now probably the Motherboard..

For Days I've had a strange sound when turning off my PC...I'm fine with a low, low buzzing noise, when the I/O switch is turned on, I mean, there is still Power running through...

But this aint a buzzing noise, its a very low frequency which just annoying and almost makes me kill myself...

All the time I had to Wake up at 05 am and turn the swtich off, because it got worse by the minute. And while the switch is off, the

frequency just changed alot for about 20 sec before it completly dies.

I took it to the store today, and had them test the PSU...and It was DEAD silence..Not a sound, even when it's off..

I came home, and thought it was the wall outputs, Think there called like that, so I tried every output in the home..and no sound...As soon as I put in my 8pin and my 24 pin Cable into the MB..the sound starts! I removed those, and just put it the PCI cabels to the GPUs, no sound, back to the 24pin and BAM BIIIIIIIZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...Can't even explain it.

So if the MB is defect, how can it make the PSU whine like that?

Might it be the CPU?

Havent overklocked yet , as far as I know..only user.

No capacitators are bend or leaked..

I need some serious help/tips

Kind regards

Hagge

Are you sure that you PSU is creating that whine? Is the sound coil whine? Linus has a video about it:

This is not coil whine, I've got some experiance with Coil whine, and this is more like a pitchy noise..

Just appears when the 24 pin Cable is connected...and just appears when the PC is turned off with the I/O switch on.
