First time builder and i am having trouble with my new system. First day it was built worked fine, Download a few games played them at high Settings everything seemed to be great. Next day go to boot it up and while logging into windows it hard freezes. After powering off and rebooting it did the same thing.. A day later i try the normal steps i check to see if my RAM and GPU are seated correct they were, check the dim slots on MOBO and tried every config of RAM i could. No luck a few days go by and i boot it up and everything runs fine. Again i power it off for the night and come back the next morning to find the problem has only gotten worse and it had frozen while in the BIOS. I took my GPU out and reinstalled windows and now everything seems to be running fine.. but i don't have my GPU installed.. any ideas why it would work fine one day and then not the next? I have a feeling that my power supply is not providing enough power or maybe a motherboard issue im not sure but all the PSU calculates say it should be enough. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Unless its broken the PSU offers plenty of power.  Honestly it sounds like a software issue to me.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

so you cant get in without the GPU? take a look at your PCIE or perripheral settings in your BIOS

also try safemode

I can get into the BIOS with or without the GPU installed. But with the GPU installed its a hit or miss if it runs perfectly fine or if it will just hard freeze every time i log into windows. Also what settings would i be looking for exactly?

Then you just have a piece of faulty hardware somewhere in your system.

How do i find out what part? from my testing it just seems to be really inconsistent. Also just now it froze again without the GPU this time but this time the screen was flashing in strips of green.

Personally, sounds like a memory issue to me.
