The oly thing I recommend is changing the power supply to a G2 EVGA PSU instead and overclocking the CPU to 4.5gHz. Should be stable there.

I'm gonna assume your budget is about $1100, and that that's an EVGA NEX PSU which are bad.

Grab a better cooler, the Hyper 212 EVO is not worth its cost anymore. Chose the EVGA 1070 because it's $400

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

are u sure mate just checked some benchmark videos it does...

On games that are very well optimized. Most are not and future games will only get more and more demanding.

Instead try to get a good build now and upgrade down the line, two - three year cycle for the GPU is great.

It is great, don't get me wrong, but in two years will be just average. Just check how GTX 470 is doing right now, not great.

Good, I just wanted to make sure you were being realistic. But your build will crush every game on 1080p right now.

The 1080 Ti is rumored to drop soon, as well as RX 490. Although the actual next gen cards will be released in springtime probably. So take that as you want, I wouldn't wait.
