h100i V Custom loop

Hello. I am considering building a new rig in the next few months, and at first I thought that I would just go with the h100i, but then I read some stuff and watched some videos and found out that I could get a custom loop for relatively cheap (~$170) and not to hard to install.

I would like help deciding between the h100i or the custom loop. I will be overclocking the 4770k but not going to crazy. I know the custom loop is a bit more, so is it worth the price?

well, it depends, what im asking is what the performance difference is.

Not worth the cost. Custom loops is a "Go all out or don't go at all" type thing. If you don't do a full custom loop it's not worth it.

 

The performance is good but nothing worth the cost. It's mostly for the gpu cooling and the Look's. I wouldn't go with a custom loop unless you plan to go all out. 170$ custom loops won't even touch a good loop. Most good pumps on their own cost 80$

If you're only going to cool the CPU, get the h100i.

just go for the h100i no need unless your trying to cool your gpu for a custom loop
