Don't update your BIOS while in Windows. Just don't.

 

Actually, if you don't need to, don't update your BIOS at all.

Don't update your bios via Windows. It can potentially brick your motherboard. I would flash the bios via MFlash or through a DOS environment. Why are you flashing your bios? Wouldn't flash it unless you have problems with it.

Ok thanks. I need to update the bios in order to enable overclocking.

These new boards should have software that allow you to update board in windows. Use them, not files you download from site. Or doit from usb or other ways as @mgsstar suggested.
