How to remove scratches from side window?

Does anyone have any idea on how I could remove scratches on my window side panel? I have heard of people using toothpaste.

If it is actually scratched into the plastic, you can only really hide it.

tooth paste may work on small scratches so will various car care products. a deep scratch cannot be remedied. A replacement sheet of plastic shouldnt be expensive.

I guess I will give the toothpaste thing a go then. doubt it will do anything the scratch is quite large. thanks for the help mate.
