Hi everyone, first I would like to thank everyone who reads this and comments with thoughts and possible solutions to my issue. Currently in csgo, it may just be with all of the recent updates, however the game appears to be running slower than it should be for the specs of my rig. Yes I know source games are cpu bound, however this i5 should in theory be enough, seeing as people with 6&7 hundred series cards seem to get constant 300+fps with the 4460. My average FPS on dust2 goes between 200 and sometimes 300 in matchmaking, but a bit lower in ESEA(expected). You might be thinking, 200 fps is fine, however for CSGO, and 144hz, something about 300+ feels smoother, this could be placebo. GPU is on max performance, as well as the overall system. It also appears that every time i clean install with ddu(everytime i update gpu drivers its through here), my fps goes up by a ton for the next two days or so. In the fps benchmark map i went from 127.6 average to 370 average. However this does not last, not even until a new update i'll find my fps is down again and then i'll leave to cry in a corner until i use DDU again. I do not use Geforce EXP, or any of the addons that Nvidia has such as audio drivers. Anyways, if anyone has any ideas here i thought i would post a thread to see what comes of it, by the way, im also running mat_queue_mode 2. Thanks for reading!

PS, also running in 4:3 @1280x960 with mostly low settings, some maxed for competitive advantage.

I remember a couple of CS:GO updates released would reset all my Video setting to Auto. Auto would then max out everything (including antialiasing and anisotropic filtering) and cause my fps to really chug.

It might seem like a stupid question, but have you checked your video settings?
