About a year ago I bought a cheap headset for around $30. I wanted a better set, but didn't have the funds at that time to buy a more expensive set. About a year later and I am ready to buy a nice pair of headphones or a headset. I could go with either. I have heard good things about the Kingston HyperX Cloud headset. I like how it has a detachable microphone along with the red and black which match my keyboard and mouse. Are they any good? Have any different better suggestions? They are mostly going to be used for light gaming, video chats, and matching movies and YouTube. Also keep it under or just above $100 CAD.

I would suggest the Superlux 668B and a Modmic 4.0 Massdrop sometimes has the M220 for 50 USD, but they're more "monitor" headphones than anything else.

Probably should have asked before, for you want open or closed back?

BOINC Setup:
i5 7200U @ Stock

Core2Duo T6600 @ Stock

i3 2330M @ Stock

i5 3210M @ Stock

I can appreciate that from time to time (washing machine next to my room) The 668B is semi-open, so that miiiight work. Same with the 681 Evo

Semi-open would work as well. I will have a look at those two that would said.
