My internet on my Dell 7559 goes out randomly, with seemingly no cause. I'm running Win10, 6700HQ, 16GB of RAM, and an intel 8260 wireless card.

I know it's not the wireless network going down because other laptops, phones, 3DS, etc still connect and function normally.

Every couple of days to every other week, my internet won't stay connected. I'll have 3 to 30 seconds of connected internet inbetween 15 seconds to 5 minutes of disconnect.

But, when it's not acting up, I get a perfect online experience at the full bandwidth of what I should get from my ISP.

Things I have tried:

  • Turning on and off the WiFi: doesn't fix it
  • Forgetting the WiFi access point and putting in the password again: doesn't fix it
  • Connecting to 2.4GHz vs 5GHz/vice versa: doesn't fix it.
  • Rebooting: sometimes fixes it, for anywhere between an hour and two weeks
  • Reinstalling the driver: fixed it for a week, then it happened again.
  • Replugging the card in, along with the antenna: fixed it for two hours
  • Buying a new wireless card: fixed it for a couple of days

Things I have not tried:

  • Reinstalling the OS/using a portable USB linux
  • Anything on the router/access point side, I don't have access to it
  • Messing with DNS/DHCP
  • Taking it over to Starbucks and seeing if the problem persists over there

Screenshots of various times I've ping'd out to test my network connectivity.
