Hello all, sorry in advance if this topic has already been addressed in a previous post but I recently bought (about 2 months ago) a pair of astros a50 headphones wireless, the pc/ps4 ones they are blue if that helps identify which ones I am talking about. I just recently started getting into pc gaming and to a lesser extent building them so I really only use them for the pc not so much for the ps4 but the issues are the same. Now I have watched many reviews on this headset (wish I would have before buying them) but I know the mic on them leaves much to be desired but I am also have a ton of issues with the speakers as well. The audio will cut in and out almost all the time, sometimes it will work pretty good for a hour or so and then most of the time only about 20 minutes before I have to unplug them and re-plug them back in. For some reason it seems like the optical connection is even worse than the usb. I have tried them on my pc another pc I built before selling to a co-worker 2 of my friends pc's my ps4 and a friends ps4 in total 5 pc's 2 ps4 at 3 different locations so I have to assume our hardwear such as usb plugs or power and or wifi interference has been ruled out. I have the astro command center app downloaded updated to the latest firmwear updated realtek audio to the latest version tried 5 different optical cables. I bought them at best buy and got the protection plan so I even brought the original pair in and got a new in the box pair and still the same issues. I am really hoping there is some simple user error happening here cause for $300 you would really hope you invested your money in a head set that works a bit better than a significantly cheaper brand that is wired which at this point doesnt appear to be the case. I have emailed astro directly but so far they havent been able to provide much in the way of any solutions so I turn to you guys in hope to resolve this situation. Thank you in advance for your help and bare in mind I am still new to all of this so if I left out any sort of important information please let me know so I can update or correct it.
