Is this CPU appropriate?

Hi,

 

I'm looking to purchase a ASUS Strix 1070 OC card and wondered if a Intel Core i7 3770 3.4GHz Processor would be appropriate and have no bottlenecking? 

 

Also, would you say that the ASUS Strix 1070 OC card is decent?

Your CPU will be fine. The Strix is also a decent card.

Im running my 1070 with an i7-2600 that I have overclocked up to 4439Mhz. It runs fine and give similar benchmark performance to a stock i5-6600. (10300 Physics score in Firestrike). You also have the added benefit of PCIe 3.0 so you should be able to do at least as well as that.
