problem was ENBDEV i had downloaded. due to older card maybe.

No.

I just reinstalled the game, that worked.

It seems that some of the texture files were corrupted during patching.

Wow.

Simple reinstall fixed everything :D

Thank you for your help!!

correction!!!

Fallout 4 is all dark! :/
No idea why.

I have the latest patch, 1.87, but it's all messed up!

Running latest crimson drivers (Beta 16.2.1) on the system in the signature.

I've played fallout at version 1.4 previously, and that worked fine.

Latest working drivers for patches prior Fallout 4, version 1.4 were 15.11 beta drivers. (Worked GREAT).

Then fallout 4 updated to 1.4 and above, and you needed the latest Crimson beta drivers 16.2.1 (which I'm using now)

Now Fallout 4 is on version 1.87, which looks like this on the latest Crimson drivers, from AMD's site :(:

I HAVE tried disabling ALL mods (Uninstalling them all). It's still the same with the full vanilla game :(

okay hmm...

It's weird, cause if you shoot nearby, there is lighting.
It's like a big shadow is covering everything.

Have you overclocked your GPU? Because seems like you have a bit of artifacting or unloaded resources on your screenshot. Is your GPU the same as your signature? But you're not the only one complaining about the new drivers. So that might be the issue.

NO overclock, other than BIOS 1, which is factory OC to 880MHz, just like the stock settings for 6970, as this in principle is.

ALL other games are running fine.

hmm is there anywhere I can download unofficial drivers, that might have fixed this?

Some russian might've done something? xD

You're probably better off just getting the old drivers you know that worked from AMDs site.

try the previous crimson driver (non-beta), I doubt the latest version of fallout 4 is so new it requires the driver from a few days ago

Fully maxed out early 2017 Dell XPS 15, GTX 1050 4GB, 7700HQ, 1TB nvme SSD, 32GB RAM, 4k display. 97Whr battery :x
Dell was having a $600 off sale for the fully specced out model, so I decided to get it :P

-Crapbook

Fully specced out early 2013 Macbook "pro" with gt 650m and constant 105c temperature on the CPU (GPU is 80-90C) when doing anything intensive...

A 2013 laptop with a regular sized battery still has better battery life than a 2017 laptop with a massive battery! I think this is a testament to apple's ability at making laptops, or maybe how little CPU technology has improved even 4+ years later (at least, until the recent introduction of 15W 4 core CPUs). Anyway, I'm never going to get a 35W CPU laptop again unless battery technology becomes ~5x better than as it is in 2018.

Apple knows how to make proper consumer-grade laptops (they don't know how to make pro laptops though). I guess this mostly software power efficiency related, but getting a mac makes perfect sense if you want a portable/powerful laptop that can do anything you want it to with great battery life.

The latest driver, prior to the Crimson drivers, is 15.7 - Non crimson.

And As I recall, it doesn't work with Fallout 4, patch 1.4 and above.
