hello,

For my painting final i wanna make a stop motion video.

I need to be able to specify how long an image will stay on screen (i wanna make the video run at 60fps), and have a decent verity of rendering options.

What programs do you guys recommend ?

Blender can do such things and it's free, I can't remember another programm that can do that decently. But AFAIK, for blender you need to capture the image with another program or just take the pics directly with the camera and insert them.

60 fps is ambitious. For reference, films are shot at 24 fps.

True, but considering it's stop motion i want the transitions to be smooth between all the frames.
It's not exactly going to be long, a minute is what I'm aiming for but it could always be shorter.
