Here is my problem guys

i had an overclock on my rig with a 950 pro m.2 of 4.5ghz @1.264v running xmp profile (3000mhz) on the 125 strap because of my xmp profile and i have upgraded my 950 pro to a 960 evo so im running the Evo on the m.2 slot on my motherboard and using the asus hyper mini card for my 950 pro but with the overclock when i go to the uefi / bios the boot priorites are not there is shows only my other ssds and not my boot manager which is the 960 evo how ever this would work with the 950 pro.

When i load optimal defaults of the uefi it will detect all my m.2 drives

so basically with an overclock my 960 evo does not show and without a overlock the 960 shows

full spec specs are listed here like in my signature

if you are messing with the BCLK this might be the issue

bclk gets set to 125 because of my ram xmp profile but if i was to have my 950 pro as my boot drive it runs on the 125 strap no problem as i already had my 950 pro as the boot drive and overclocked before i purchased my 960 evo

not every device reacts OK with BCLK OC

if memory serves, even instruction sets inside the CPU, like AVX, get really screwed up if BCLK is not at default freq

i wonder if it is down to the new polaris controller from samsung because i can use the BCLK 125 with my 950 with no problems at all yet with the 960 it wont work so i think my only work around is putting myu 950 back as my boot drive and just having the 960 as storage :(

unless anyone else knows how to use the 960 evo with a 125 strap
