Pc Upgrade Compatibility

i'm upgrading my pc for Christmas.

just need to know if the upgrade and new pc will work and is all compatible and i have provided links so if you know somewhere cheaper to get these parts (including shipping to the uk) you can save me some cash

 

currently i have:

Core i3 3220  3.30GHz

4GB DDR3 @ 532MHz

ASRock H61M-VG4

Power supply is plenty so it doesn't matter

 

i will be upgrading:

the motherboard to a z170 S  -  Motherboard

the ram to 8 gb ddr4 corsair  -  Ram

the cpu to 6600k   -  Cpu

 

is this all compatible? will it all work?

I would worry for PSU as it can be bad quality and not last long enough but everything you chose is fine except the ram linked is ddr3 not ddr4

What power supply is 'plenty' ? Just cause it has the wattage, doesn't mean its good to use.

BUt the parts you've chosen are fine, i'd recommend 16gb's of ram though, depending what youre gonna be using it for.

gaming mostly but either way i cant afford 16gb sadly right now

yeah when i first upgraded it i bought a big psu as i didn't really understand that you don't need as much as you think but i also plan to get better and more gpus' in the future so i guess i set myself up for the future
