Okay I'll try that in the morning at least one of them works is it even worth the benefits if I ever get the sli working that is if I didn't break the gpu ? And Thanks for the help.

What motherboard do you have? Are you sure it meets the requirements for SLI? (Both slots need to run at PCIe x8 speed, I found that out with mine where the second slot only runs at x4 which is fine for AMD Crossfire but not Nvidia SLI)

In terms of if it's worth it, if you have the second card already, then sure, but most of the time it's better to spend money on a single, better card and invest in two lower powered cards for the same price. The reason being is it never scales 1:1, and it all depends on how optimised the game is for SLI, some games you may get 190% performance boost, some only 110%, and some either perform worse or don't work at all. That and the increased power, noise and heat output are usually a turn off for most people
