Which Android phone?

Hi LTT I'm looking for a android phone for daily use and i cannot decide which is best, i am looking for your opinions. Budget is not an issue as it will be on a contract. I am from the UK and appreciate any input on the topic. I have researched but each have their own pros and cons so which is your choice? I currently have a iphone 6 which has served me well. Thanks in advance.

I'd go Google Pixel if you want an experience similar to an iPhone.

Otherwise, give Motorola, Samsung, HTC, LG. Huawei, anything really.

I have a Sony Xperia Z5 Premium but I wouldn't recommend it.

I had an account called Joegeddon active since April 20th 2015

Desktop

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 | XFX RADEON RX580 8GB XXX | 16GB 3000MHz DDR4 | Thermaltake Versa H22 | Corsair RM550x PSU | MSI AM4 B450M-A PRO Motherboard

1TB 7200RPM HDD | 500GB 7200RPM HDD | 500GB M.2 WD BLUE SSD

Laptop - Asus UX303UA

Intel i7 6500U | Intel 530 Graphics | 12GB 1600MHz DDR3 | 256GB SATA 3 SSD

But he wants something more than just a mid ranger ^^.

He wants POWAH! If motorola, id say the Moto Z Force is the only option available for him, with a battery pack moto mod.

And im changing to the iphone because of its simplistic interface, im at college working my way into I.T so i know quite a bit and have been told numerous times that android is the way to go so a change wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

I dont think you need a technician/engineering course to understand how to operate an IOS/Android/Windows Mobile based device in anyway ^^, unless your talking about developing programs, languange extensions, security breach testing, etc and even then, there are better courses for programming/white hat meddling. Thing is, if you want an android device that is pretty reliable, gets software updates on a steady pace, feels premium and whose camera issues should be getting fixed/if not fixed already by software updates, i wouldnt even think twice if i had the chance to get the Pixel/Pixel XL, altough obviously youll want the Pixel XL for that.

Would a good case help prevent the damage done to the back, espically the glass part. This is the phone i want but if its so easy to damage from a single drop this wouldn't last very long. Saw this video below not sure if the youtuber is trusted with his reviews but still a key point to pick up on.

Your mileage may vary of course, depending on the roughness and hardness of the floor, but i presume any modest bumper case, altough id definetly go for either a hard shell + tempered glass protector or flip case + tempered glass protector, altough that depends on how much your willing to spend on the case, but given how pricy the phone is, an extra 30-40£ are totally worth to protect the investment :p. Id stay away from those 4£ sillicon cases... they barely protect the device and it can easily crack/break the internals due to such cases barely amortize the fall.

https://www.otterbox.co.uk/en-gb/pixel-xl - Very pricey, but totally worth the money! Theyr basically the most protective cases on the market, for most major brands.

Other than those, its gonna be pretty hard to find US mostly based Pixel/Pixel XL case brands :P. But those are literally the best nonetheless.

s7-edge-black.jpg (705×400)

Lets go to South Korea buy the ultimate S7 Edge, in Pearl Black/Black Pearl with 128GB of internal storage, xD!

People with theyr 32GB be like "What in the actual F!" :P.

Also the headphone jack is gone in that probably... (not that it was good to begin with on the S7...)
